Welcome to Climb Occupational Therapy
At Climb Occupational Therapy, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. Our passion is helping children enjoy the climb—their unique journey toward reaching their full potential. We provide comprehensive, evidence-based services that focus on each child’s strengths, interests, and the “just-right” challenge needed to support meaningful growth and development.
Climb Occupational Therapy supports children aged 0–12 years across the Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast regions. As a mobile service, we offer flexible support within the home or school environment, via telehealth, or through a keyworker model—making therapy accessible, functional, and tailored to your child's everyday world.
At Climb Occupational Therapy, we specialise in supporting children with a range of neurodevelopmental and emotional needs. We commonly work with children on the autism spectrum (ASD), children experiencing developmental delay, intellectual disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma and complex emotional needs and sensory processing difficulties. While our focus is not on physical disabilities, we excel at helping children build independence, regulation, and participation in everyday life. Our strengths-based, family-centred approach ensures each child’s unique needs and goals are at the heart of their therapy journey
The first step in Occupational Therapy is to collaborate on goals that are meaningful to you and your child. An assessment is then completed to understand your child’s strengths and determine where additional support may be helpful.
Therapy may include regular sessions with the Occupational Therapist, as well as home-based activities to continue building skills between sessions.

Initial Occupational Therapy Reports can be provided as a comprehensive starting point for children new to OT. These reports use a range of assessments to identify areas of concern, prioritise goals, and outline an intervention plan tailored to your child’s needs.
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) are detailed evaluations for the NDIS that explore an individual’s strengths, challenges, and support needs across key areas of daily functioning. They describe how a disability impacts participation in everyday activities, community life, and goal achievement. FCAs also provide clear recommendations and support plans to promote greater independence and meaningful engagement.
